Few places ask patrons to wear them here at this time. But the same people who believed when told they needed a mask, now don’t believe when told they don’t need a mask. So they are still wearing them.
Living in a very liberal Midwestern city people here are absolutely in love with their masks. It is really bizarre. People wearing them everywhere outdoors, in their car, walking alone. I am just slack-jawed watching people adhering to their masks like toddlers with their beloved nookie.

I am glad that they are quoting an orthopod as one of their experts. This is more crap from assembled antivaxxers. Certainly entitled to their opinion but also the scrutiny of their statements.
Hundreds of millions of vaccines. Overwhelming success in highly vaccinated populations. Almost minimal side effects. Yes there is a one in several million chance of life threatening thrombus. But much less than the possibility of death from Covid.

Some people will die or have serious complications from getting the vaccine. But the short term risk is far far less than if they get Covid.
Long term effects of either the vaccine or getting covid is anyone's guess. But I read that they have tested the MRNA technology for 20 years in animals and 10 years in human clinical trials.
I'm still hermitting and haven't gotten vaccinated yet. But not everyone has that option or is comfortable as I am at hermitting.

Testing something for 3 months is not exactly testing. Get back to me in 3-5 years and let me know how those 100 million people are doing. Then you can make that assertion.

Yes, that was a particularly eye-opening paper. Suggests a reason why the SSRIs seem to work to reduce the severity, and at the same time the possibility that a serotonin antagonist might be effective in late-stage covid.

At this time what we’ve got is a lot of human test subjects not involved in any formal study.
There’s money in them there vaccinations and booster vaccinations.
