I've always enjoyed watching the Olympics with my family when I was young. The Opening Ceremonies were always beautiful and inspirational. They get worse, more 'woke' and more crap-filled every year. SO disappointing.
Liberals ruin EVERYTHING.
They couldn’t even let a real Japanese person light the flame. You know that was the IOC’s doing.
WTF was that sh*t with John Lennon's commie song 'Imagine'?? I was expecting to learn more about interesting ancient Japanese culture, not being subjected to that sh*tty song yet again.
I think Tokyo must have had a budget of about $7.00 for this entire crappy Opening Ceremony. Appallingly bad.
Well he was married to Yoko, so there is that.
I did think of that. However don't the Japanese have a rich culture of their own to display to the world? Why roll out that old tired sickening commie 'Imagine' song??
I know, but “Imagine” has been a part of the Olympics for awhile now.
Although I suspect the Chinese may not put up with it, when it’s their turn to host the games.
For some reason, I forgot all about that. I hate that song so much, guess I put it out of my mind.
You're right -- the Chinese will NOT put up with that song when it's their turn to host the games. It's a damn shame they were awarded the Olympic Winter Games for 2022.
What kind of hag uses her dementia old man to gain POWER?
Well that Hag is the fake ,”doctoro”. Jill.
What a piece of work this shrew is.
The mother of hunter the worthless.
She always looks cheap. Like her son is a crackhead and her husband is demented and corrupt as the day is long.
At least Wookie was creative. Jill dresses like my mom in her day, grannie style. Or she swings to the opposite end and dresses like a teenager.
Not sure why she’s being so sloppy with her apparel....she certainly has designated funds to do otherwise. But I digress, she’s a school teacher and most of them don’t know how to dress their figures either.
Graceful and lovely as always! I truly miss our Melania. ...
She’s really bad at choosing her jewelry as well. Pearls were a bad choice for this dress....and too long and sloppy.
“Really almost more of a political event, rather than a sports event, actually (US vs. USSR).”
We were living in Alaska at the time and the USSR team came at least once to play at the Anchorage arena. We went to see it when company came from NYS. Soooo exciting - and political.
Wow... VERY cool!
It was awesome to watch (on TV) our young American *amateur* hockey team beat the pants off the USSR, wasn't it? :-)
Yes, it WAS awesome to watch on TV. In Alaska we will weren’t getting live TV yet, so had to wait until the tapes were flown up from Seattle, — about a 4-hour delay. Everybody knew not to listen to the news to know an outcome, especially on Mondays because of bets on Monday Night Football.
So we were watching the hockey game, all excited, even though the US had already won. We didn’t want to know until we had seen it ourselves.
Then my sister called from NYS screaming, “We won! We won!” (Thank you SO much.) Still, it was incredibly exciting.
For some reason when Elvis played in Hawaii, it was broadcasted in AK via satellite and I think that was early ‘70s. That was a Big Deal.
She is skinny fat.
