They are congratulating the military for pulling out sooner, like a surprise.
Just wish we hadn’t left billions of dollars in technology over there.
The debacle in Afghanistan has convinced many world leaders that America can no longer be relied upon to lead the free world (America’s military is still strong, but America’s civilian leaders are corrupt, inept, and unreliable. U.S. Sec. of State Blinken admitted receiving a cable from about two dozen diplomats warning that the Taliban could seize Afghanistan in a hurry if Biden removed the troops. An Audit uncovered by the group called “Open the Books” listed 600,000 weapons; 75,000 Humvees, armored personnel carriers, tactical vehicles, mine-resistant vehicles, etc.; $200 million dollars worth of drones; 208 planes/helicopters in Afghanistan).
That is not counting all the other equipment from mess kits, stoves, tents, infantry type equipment, food stuffs, engineer equipment, etc. Billions and billions of wasted dollars in equipment. And let's NOT FORGET the blood soaking into the ground of our brave men and women.

Once again, the US has snatched a great defeat from the jaws of victory. Since WW2, the score is what? 0-2-1? Unless you count Iraq 1 and maybe it should since that is the last war that was lead by real Generals. However, thanks to Bush, the Lesser’s “Weapons of Mass Destruction”, I think of Iraq 1 as simply a prelude to the Great War on Terror. So if Iraq 1 is counted as a win, I guess the score is now 1-3-1
But if Lord Biden wants a parade, why not? He deserves it.
