Agree. “Democracy,” meaning the people voting directly for nearly everything is too ingrained. Scotus itself foolishly regards the franchise as the right that protects all others.

In order for a COS to have any validity, there would have to be exclusions for ANYONE who is now, or ever has been, a federally elected officeholder, or anyone who has been SES, or been GS-12 or above.
