the revolution started because i couldn’t get my canned cranberry sauce. I WANT MY CRANBERRY SAUCE.
Imagine a world where America still manufactured things self sufficiently.
All is JUST FINE here. All we need to do, according to some Baghdad Bobs here is hire a few more dock workers and a few more truck drivers and all that shutdown production in China (due to their blackouts as well as they’re sending us a message regarding Taiwan) will simply disappear and NO MORE SHORTAGES or rising prices.
How do they know a few more workers will do the trick? Why, the media told them that was the ONLY problem regarding supplies.
And the enemedia begins the process of ensuring shortages...
It would take a while to get that America up and running.
I wonder why the DNCMedia is making a big deal out of a labor shortage... Are they trying to get all the illegals amnesty and/or be allowed to come in and “do the work real Americans won’t do”?
I still wonder if it’s a ‘labor shortage’ or something far worse. It just seems strange that truckers would simply disappear, even as the virus rates are declining sharply. Couple that with reports of huge delays in getting products out of China...never a problem when the world was humming along pre-virus. Hummm, makes men wonder.
To put it another way, perhaps there isn’t as much cargo for the trucker to move?
It would take a different President.
Pick up a few extra canned goods. Always a good idea. Hair on fire blogger moron will always post the same headline irrespective of the situation. Still, always a good idea to stock up on a few things.
Oh No, there's a chip shortage
Other than cranberry sauce, I’m not sure modern folks buy near as many canned goods as in the past.
I’ve said it before and I’ll continue saying it: this isn’t like 2008...it’s scarier.
“Chinese gov’t has effectively banned #phosphate exports thru June ‘22
China accounts for almost 30% of world trade. This is bad for global phosphate prices and even worse for those highly dependent on those tons (i.e. Australia)
Watch for #urea similar action. @JLinvilleFert
But there is an easy solution, make your own, easier and tastes better.
“… WTOP News in Washington DC reported September 30th “Prince George’s County Public Schools says it will stop handing out free suppers to some students starting next week, citing supply chain issues and national shortages.”…”

What! NO FREE SUPPER? Now things really are getting serious!
The total dumpster fire debacle the last couple years and the continuing collapse of our institutions accelerating, showing no sign of reversal, it should be a real wake up call to ordinary people who have (somehow) not been paying attention these last 20 years or so.
Another case where there’s a “prediction” that can easily be manufactured by the left.
And likely will be.
However, that will have little impact on me. My canned goods do not depend on someone else canning them.
Cranberry sauce is ridiculously easy to home can.
Good thing our cellar is full of home canning. No cranberry sauce though. Might stock up on chicken food just in case. Been feeding the catfish in the pond all summer so they should be fat and happy. Red Squirrels look fat and sassy playing in the back yard.
I have 18 old hens that need plucked if anyone wants to come help.
