That’s a good observation. It always seems to me that whoever it is - pundit, journalist, etc - is secretly thinking he/she would be better at the job. If only people could just see it!

I think DT was the best president we’ve had in a long time. He’s better than anything else we’ve got right now. But he’s not above criticism. (You don’t think he’s above criticism, do you?)
The fact that he has so many friends in the cult of Scientology has bugged me for quite a while now. I don’t believe him to be seriously compromised by this - but it’s odd.
So those are two of the things I don’t like about DT.
This guy just goes hog-wild on him, however: “Trump was the exciting, sharp-tongued alpha boyfriend who’d be the life of the nightclub and make you feel important just by the attention he showered upon you. But he also gave you AIDS, gonorrhea, and he burned down your house. Dump him and move on.”

He ends with this tough-guy speech: “Speaking of which, I gotta run. I have a bunch of appointments with L.A. “conservatives” who let the George Gascon recall die on the vine because they didn’t think it could win in a liberal city. Well, to be more specific, the appointments are actually between their asses and my steel-toed boot.”
Scary! He’s gonna beat those guys up, somebody better call the cops!
By posting this I was more trying to get feedback on this type of editorial, or whatever it is. These seem like intelligent people, but they are advocating irrationality to their readers.
Thank you for your reply, and yes there are/were some thing I did not like about President Trump, too few and too minor to mention.

I echo some of the thoughts here, but Jan 6 was not a riot nor was it Trump’s fault.
Jan 6 was beyond the pale…at least as far as breaking windows. Everything else was pretty much a joke about it, including leftist verbiage as in “deadly riot”…without mention that the only “deadly” happened to a “rioter” on the right side.
It was a trespass event instigated by Leftist bad actors to take advantage of hyped up patriots. Doesn't haunt me one bit.
