She’ll have only turned 35 in October of 2024. That sure would be one very short campaign.

That's the Biden model. Run before you're old enough to take office and become eligible after the election. The Constitution doesn't prevent it.

I have never met her, and unlike Musk she’s not on my bucket list.

I may need to reconsider?

The Constitution only says that you have to be 35 to be President, and you don’t actually become President until Inauguration Day.

This stupid bitch will be shredded in one debate. She wouldn’t debate anyone when she ran for Congress.

She can’t dodge a debate if she were to run for president.

And with all that she ends up slinging drinks in a bar in the Bronx.

Some achievement.

JFTR, the clause (Article II section 1 clause 5) is written in the “negative” language, saying that “neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States”. Certainly be a hard row against that current; barely squeaking by age-wise is an extremely hard sell, but unless the cheating goes away then the factors are irrelevant anyhow.

The Constitution doesn't create degrees of eligibility. She's either eligible, or she's not. She wouldn't be occupying the office until 35, so she's eligible. I'm sure some would argue she's too inexperienced, but that's a different question from whether she is a legal candidate.

The hard left always want to have a candidate in the primary, even if just to be sure they get a seat at the table for arguing about platform, VP's, etc.. And to be sure their issues are part of the debate.

I think she tosses her hat in the primary ring only if there isn't another hard left candidate of consequence running. She won't run against Bernie or Warren, for example. But if the only other candidates are ones she and others on the hard left deem to be too moderate, the she'll run as the representative of the hard left to ensure those issues are part of the debates and platform.
