So to summarize your analysis, McCormick is a totally solid citizen and any criticism about him is “unfair”. Oz? Why, Oz apparently has no baggage at ALL! Not one blessed thing that Democrats could attack him with!

The fact is that EVERY Republican nominee for any important office anywhere is going to get an ongoing proctological exam from the Democrats and their media allies — and from RINOs, if the subject is a conservative.
Even Squeaky Clean Dr. Oz is going to get one. And he’s going to fail it, if he hasn’t already.

Barnette can and will. She offers a Trump-esque policy vision, a fighting spirit that neither of the other two frontrunners has, and a great life story. Being a black female is gravy, but potentially useful against (in all probability) a radical who once held a gun to a black person.
