They, originally, said that the Uvalde POS didn’t have body armor, but a tactical vest, then it was soft armor, now plates.
Wonder if he had an fbi handler, like the Buffalo and Garland shooters and the Michigan “kidnappers”?

Yup.

Everywhere i went to school backpacks were in lockers or in coatroom areas in the classroom. You cant have them wearing them or being hauled around everywhere they go.

"Quite a ways from my rural woodframe school house where I started to school 71 years ago. That school house is still standing."

70 years for me. I grew up in Rochester, New York. My grammar school was turned into a senior citizen apartment complex many years ago. The hospital I was born in was torn down in 1966. My high school was demolished in 1983. I'm next for the chopping block 😆

If they’re level three, all of those except .308

I love my kids. I have a rising high school senior who attends a great Christian school. I have a rising college sophomore taking in person Computer Science classes at a beautiful university campus. Both could benefit from bullet proof backpacks. Also, luckily, both ran track and cross country and know how to RUN FAST (best way to survive a mass shooting is to run).

The truth is a grade school children is probably 10,000 times more likely to die in a soccer mom van accident than in a school shooting.

US traffic fatalities highest in 16 years as nearly 43,000 people died on roads in 2021

Don’t they want to ban “bulletproof” vests and stuff?

A back pack is a great way to conceal a SBR in 5.56 or 6.5mm w/o anyone being suspicious for personal defence. With room left over for a tablet, lithium ion power bank and cables for your phone’s.

The backpack will not stop and AR-15 bullets.

Try to protect the school with a locked perimeter, with police on the grounds, and Trained Shooter for the children, and banning guns with a posted sign to scare off the bad person.

AR-1, 3,250 ft/s
Best Vest: 1 round of armor-piercing ammo such as a 166gr 30-06 traveling at 2880 fps. Doesn’t protect after bullet 1.
