The author of the article is apparently getting his “ISO’s” mixed up...the “International Organization for Standardization” will not be tracking any gun purchases, they just added a “firearms” category for credit cards that didn’t exist before.
A particular “Independent Sales Organization” (similar to a normal credit card processor) may very well keep a copy of certain sales records for a period of time.
