There are extreme Trump worshippers who will refuse to vote. But there’s far more independents who have become Never Trumpers. Another candidate might lose because you sit it out but Trump CANNOT win a battleground state.
Strangely, to want and work to ‘Make America Great Again’, draws up and out the minds and spines of mush. I will never again vote for a neocon! I Trust the Heavenly Father, and it is His Will that will be done. Kind of a Heavenly sorting of the sheep from the goats. Appears most days there are majority goats..
The Lord expects us to use the tools we have been given, especially including our fellow man, to make for a better world. He Himself sometimes even uses imperfect tools, such as Trump.
So to assume, or even worse claim, that no other imperfect Presidents besides Trump are worthy of our support is simply wrong, in light of The Lord’s expectations of us.
ALL men are imperfect. But we should seek the good in them, and not immediately pre-judge or condemn them instead. That said, some are beyond our help, but not many. Our role is to nurture, and leave most judgement to Him.
Only a super hero could create a viable third party, the MAGA party.
Can you provide the stats/info about the Independent voters becoming Never-Trumpers and refusing to vote for Trump? Thank you.
If Trump went 3rd party it would guarantee a (D) victory. We dont have time to lose elections anymore.
Everyone I know wants America to be great again. Almost everyone in my family is a veteran. I’m retired military and my Dad died in Vietnam.
HUGE DIFFERENCE between wanting to make AMERICA great again and wanting to make TRUMP great again! And that is what this is about. Trump lost me on Election night, when I was feeling sick to my stomach over the results and he BOASTED about what a great night HE had!
He lost all of my relatives - two time Trump voters like myself - when he attacked DeSantis, made a racist attack on Youngkin and then posted it was time to terminate all rules, including those in the Constitution!
I made a tongue in cheek response in post 95 last night, after first seeing what I assumed was a joke by Trump. But after thinking about it fresh this morning, my actual guess is there is actually going to be a Trump Superhero movie of some sort. Sort of like Team America if you ever saw that one.
None of the other predictions like naming a running mate seem to line up with Trump being a facsimile of a Superhero, so he probably did mean it more directly, and the only way that it could be taken directly would be in a fantasy movie role.
Guess we’ll have to see, but I’m not a fan of teasers, especially those base on fantasy savior memes when what’s going on in the world is certainly no joke.
2:1 dislike Trump in post-election polling. And based on the Arizona primary, half of the GOP didn’t support Trump either. I voted for the Trump slate of candidates (except Senate). IIRC, none broke 50% in the PRIMARY.
If you lose 2/3 of independents and 50% of the GOP (and virtually all democrats of course), you have an election blowout.
Of course, many of the GOP will hold their noses and vote Trump in 2024 - IF HE WINS THE PRIMARY. I will. But many won’t and independents do NOT view Trump as the only man alive who can be a good president. The majority DO NOT WANT HIM.
You and I will NOT decide the election. Battleground states will, and battleground state ARE battleground states because we’re evenly split in registration. Independents control the outcome!
I too have a LONG list of MILITARY ...relatives ... all the way back to Braddock's Defeat... I really think the shape of our rainbow military is nothing anyone with a hint of Christianity would be waving as some point of ‘saving’.
The prince of the power of the air has nearly circled the swamp...
I am flat out stating, alll politicians are con men. The man Trump was an exception in a life time ... why, he did not sell himself out to the highest bidder billionaire to win a presidential election. That is KEY in the cloak and dagger of politics...
And even right down to the midnight hour the turn coats never heard of Trump the man.
since henry got fired as superman this morning... anything could happen
Trump had his own billionaire donors, starting with Casino magnate Sheldon Adelson. Those were political donations that were tracked publicly. His business deals with other billionaires don’t count as political donations, but are transfers of wealth, so we really have no way of knowing exactly how and by whom Trump is funded in total.
I’ve long been a Trump fan, and believe he deserves great credit for building his empire, but to claim he has a tree in his back yard that organically grows money is a fable of some of his other supporters.
A racist attack on Youngkin?? His comments were about Youngkin and the Carlyle Groups’ (which Youngkin resigned from to run for Gov.) deep ties to China. Sounds like you and your family are thinned-skinned snowflakes. I don’t care about comments like this—I want a candidate who loves this country, puts it’s citizens above all other interests and who doesn’t lie, cheat and try to steal elections, foist Chinese bioweapons on us, laundry money thru Ukraine, sell us out to China to make themselves rich and try to overthrow a duly elected president to get their Globalist loser in. All the rest are on this bandwagon and will very nicely, with all the right words and with a big smile tell you how awful Trump is as they sell you out.
GMTA!
So what do you “win” if the one who wins does not have one’s best interest at heart?
The Trump ‘billionaire’ donors were NOT there when President Trump announced the presidential run.... They came after it became apparent Trump was going to win the nomination...
NONE of these whipper snappers doing the cattle call for the billionaire smile of grace, have any personal wealth (capitalism) creation experience. The most they can claim is ‘law’ degree and elected office .... they need the sugar daddy’s to fund their life styles.
Hope he thinks about what he has to say, as he has been putting his foot in his mouth too often.
All via political donations that are publicly reported, and tracked. Unlike the business dealings between existing billionaires, like Trump and his fellow class. I’m not knocking billionaires, I’m just saying anyone trying to claim billionaires don’t have obligations to others is obviously wrong.
There are ample Republican governors who did MORE for us than President Trump did during the COVID Fear Porn. There are plenty of Republican governors who didn’t approve of handing out trillions of dollars in “stimulus” spending. And there are plenty of Republicans who are less EGO-DRIVEN than Trump is.
Trump doesn’t have YOUR best interest at heart. Nor mine. Only HIS. He proved that when he boasted about what a great election 2022 was FOR HIM!
