No one denies that they can tell from ping data if someone was within a block or two of a drop box.
What they can't do is tell if you approached within feet the box or just drove by.

Yup. And they still don’t care.
All one has to do is go in Twitter and read some of what the leftists write. 100% unhinged
Provide evidence. Doesn’t matter.

This cell tracking technology has been used by law enforcement for years... EXCEPT for tracking down the J6 Pipe Bomber in Washington D.C.. In that case, despite the man/woman seen on surveillance video using a cell phone, that technology was NOT used although it was used to track down thousands of J6 protestors.

Read the disposition used to get the warrant. There was DNA found on the knife sheaf found at the scene. That DNA was linked to the perps father DNA found on his trash.

Thumb print applied to mail in and absentee ballots. No two should be the same right?

I have always been curious as to exactly how they identified the alleged ballot traffickers. Did someone give them a list of names or what? How did they know?

Cash a check at a bank? Thumbprint.

No ping data was used in the 2000 Mules documentary.
To: Macho MAGA Man
So, to summarize—The ping data was reliable enough to help law enforcement locate the Idaho quadruple murder suspect. but not reliable enough to prove that a massive ballot harvesting scheme was revealed by using ping data that showed ballot traffickers making at least ten trips to absentee ballot drop boxes and to non-profit “stash houses” in between. Got it…They KNOW, they just won't admit it.
They've lost in the court of public opinion.
JMO, YMMV

Is ping data the same thing as cellphone geotracking? Nit is not the same. GatewayPundit doesn't know what the hell they are talking about. And it is also fair to mention that no geolocation data ever appeared in the 2000 mules documentary. All the computer screens in the movie were simulations NOT real data.

Geolocation Data Show Black Voters Wait Longer to Vote To measure wait times during the 2016 election, Chen, Haggag, Pope, and Rohla analyzed geolocation data—captured in the form of pings gathered from voters’ smartphones. The pings corresponded to the location of each phone throughout the day, and were recorded every five minutes or so, any time a mobile application such as a navigation or weather app requested information about a phone’s whereabouts.
Using ping data from 150,000 smartphones across 46 states, combined with US Census data from each polling site, the researchers were able to document wait times across the country and break them down by neighborhood racial composition.See how both are used?

From the article:
... the report reveals how Kohberger turned his phone off on the night of the murders in an attempt to cover his tracks before the murders – turning it off before getting too close to the property.
I have heard and read that "turning your cell phone off" doesn't really turn it off. The circuity needed for tracking remains active.
