Why wasn’t this “Framework” done a month ago, instead of waiting until McCarthy’s head was on the chopping block. Because McCarthy thought he could bully the freedom caucus into abject surrender.
McCarthy has been an establishment GOP representative for many years. Hard to see him doing anything substantive to restore the Republic.

They are duly elected Congressmen and Women, just as the rest.
They have a duty to represent their voters, not McCarthy.
And they are doing so.
Or do you prefer McCarthy rule the House like Pelosi did?

As I understand it they howe been negotiating since August and McCarthy wasn’t interested. Now they have him by the shorts and here we are.

I read that rule had been the custom until changed by Pelosi, so this rule is nothing new and should be there.

The government is functioning just fine and until September when new spending bills are needed the House can stay home.
