No doubt Trump helped get DeSantis elected. DeSantis should remain good friends and a loyal ally. Sometimes a great talent simply needs a break to propel them onward. W/O the break they might never have succeeded.

Trump taking aim at DeSantis knowing that even though he has not declared, he’s running and eventually DeSantis will have to engage.
Trump is a great statistician where the process of politics is concerned.
DeSantis was hoping to stay out of the fray and avoid the messy part of Politics. Trump won’t let him so he will either have to Publicly commit, as I believe he has already made the decision to run, or, he will have to reverse course and state he is not running in 2024.
If he reverses course he has a future in National politics.
If he continues to allow the Globalists and Establishment Money men and Mouthpieces to manipulate him to run 2024, he will never be President as millions of Trump supporters will, like Trump, view him as Disloyal and a Traitor to Trump and MAGA.

Loyalty is an essential character trait for those who wish to be respected, for loyalty and honesty are locked together. Without both, you have neither.
There is no way DeSantis could have received Trump’s endorsement without representing himself to Trump as an honest, sincere person Honest and sincere people do not turn on their supporters at the first opportunity to advance.
Bottom line: If he turned on Trump, what makes you think he would be loyal to you and honor his promises to you?
