That’s an awfully personal question, and actually explains why a lot of whistleblowers don’t come forward. Even here we hide our names, for protection, and anonymity. So I’m not going to answer that on an open forum. But if I would have ever worked for the government, it would have only been for the DoD. I hope this doesn’t mean you’re now going to try to swerve the discussion back into personal attacks, but it does unfortunately give that impression.
I really do not care. You’re the one who took offense at my disdain for professional affirmative action feral government bureaucrats and unconstitutional feral government agencies.
It’s quite obvious which side you are on.
Carry on.
Yes it is, the far right conservative one. So far right, many even here do not like it.
Except for the bureaucrat fetish.
Just defending the them from the claim that 100% are traitors for China, which remains incorrect. Thanks.
Traitors by omission.
Can’t risk that cushy pension.
Thanks. I was unaware of that.
Curious, though. It was conjectured that the payload had self-destruct explosives on it which would make a lot more sense. Were the Chinese going to deploy a recovery team after it parachuted back to earth in the ocean? Why would they want the hardware back with data telemetry on board sending intel in real time?
It could be just as the Chinese said - a atmospheric research satellite.
Given that it took a leisurely jaunt across the continental US is an intelligence boon for the Chinese. It tells them volumes about US detection systems, detection thresholds, readiness, response times and a whole host of other things.
It could be a test of the level of the reliability of control they have over their WH assets. There’s an old saying “When you buy (bribe) someone, you are only renting them. So, you have to test to see if the contract is still good!”. This could be that test.
Huge propaganda victory for the CCP. It’s also very very “in-your-face round eye”! They gain face; we lose it! Very important in Asia. Also, very disheartening to the Chinese dissident movement. Shows we are still very much “Baizuo”!
There’s lots to be concerned with in this incident Intelligence collection is just one aspect of it.
Those fat pensions are mostly gone in government now, and replaced with employee 401k’s thankfully, but I’m not really even in favor of social security. There should be a return to capitalist pension systems and charities and families handling that, like they did in the past, not nanny big government. Trump sounds like Al Gore and his “lockbox” if you were around then.
thx, same-same...
