I was blindsided recently by a family member who brought up the not wearing masks to me, and when I started to go into my reasons, they all told me that I should shut up and keep my opinion to myself. He asked, and I answered. It’s that simple.
Your advice is good though, and what my hubby suggests when I start to get animated about the nonsense.

Indeed Trump was snookered, or so it appears. I hope he has the good sense and decency to own up to this.
No, justice is not coming. Those that lost their jobs, their businesses, their medical license, etc will not be made whole. Medical boards are still going after physicians who did not adhere to governmental policies and narratives.
At least you and some of those you communicated with had the good sense to resist the herd. You’re alive, at the least. That can’t be said—I’d bet—for some who rejected your/our message.
Good for you. You have sense.
Same with any other crime. We still seek justice—or the closest thing we can get to it—after the fact. If you have a better idea, let us know.

Everyone that rejected my message (that I know of) is still alive, but I will say, they aren’t well. Well, some are fine, but several others aren’t. One in particular is sick all the time now, starting a few days from her first shot, worse after her second. She gets boosters regularly. I think she’s on her 5th or 6th, and says she gets them because she wants to protect herself from getting sick and dying.
Thing is, she got CoVid in October (maybe the second time), and she has been sick off and on since then with a cough, headaches, fatigue, fever, and so on. Very, very little energy. A trip out for an hour to do basic shopping puts her in bed the rest of the day. She doesn’t wear a mask as often as she used to (and boy did she used to!), but she refuses to hear anything but what she wants to believe. She is a lost cause, as is her entire family. It makes me sad, but I know I’ve done what I can.
He should at least acknowledge that it is killing people. If he doesn’t at least go there, he’s done. They have yet to wrap it around his neck. But they will.

Reading that story reminds me of going to an urgent care that tried the same lies about masks as those dimwit medical workers who gave the guy a hard time.
I gave the receptionists a lecture to educate them on their complete ignorance regarding their “policy”. I left and will never return. Who can trust these people who are obviously completely ignorant when it comes to your health?
Medical errors are the 3rd leading cause of death and now we see why.

Trump should have known that except he was a government outsider (although he was aware of the “grease the wheels” culture in NYC). He should know better now... that is the state of all government. Dirty manipulable crooks all of them.
