The article has several examples of food doom this year:
-Horticulturists at the University of Georgia say roughly 90% of the Peach State’s crop has been destroyed by bad weather.
-it is being projected that a combination of factors will cause Florida’s orange harvest to be 56 percent smaller this year
-Drought has been so bad that over one-fourth of all winter wheat in the state of Kansas might not even get harvested
-U.S. beef cow herd is the smallest since 1962
and other food doom examples
Here in GA we had record cold. 4° overnight for three nights in December. This spring we had 2 late frosts that damaged my apple trees in full bloom.
Peaches HAD to have been hurt ... by cold.
We are in NW Hall county.
A string of manmade disasters by those that want us eating bugs?
Mass starvation IS the plan.
As soon as president Trump is back in office, as with restoring our pipeline projects, one more should be given priority. The fertilizer slurry pipeline is in sorry condition, yet supplies fertilizer to much of our heartland.
This fertilizer is essential to bountiful crops and harvests.
You don’t suppose that the freezing weather in March might have had something to do with the lost peach crop?
Classic “climate change” zombie response. Read no further.
The Vikings were able to colonize Greenland during the Medieval Warming Period. Greenland is still colder today than it was 1,000 years ago.So what's the big deal? We will be able to live on Greenland again. And it helps the Russians because they will be able to make a better use out of Siberia.
You Sir are correct. I farm in the central part of Kansas and we have been fortunate enough to receive enough rain we’ll have a crop, but you can pretty well write off the entire western half of the state for any wheat. My wife’s brothers had a crop insurance adjuster look at their wheat and he was forecasting 5 b/a. Doesn’t even make sense to get the combine out of the shed, you’ll spend more on fuel than you’ll ever make on wheat.
What’s up? Is China now selling peaches, so our crops need to be suppressed?
