Funny how the article mentions a lawyer thatvTrump asked to commit a crime for him, but doesn’t mention any lawyers who have been threatened for representing Trump, which I supposedly the subject of the article.

If you’re campaign/cabinet and the majority of the GOP was illegally what would you have differently than Trump?
The Left is willing to do anything to defeat Trump. They would kill his pet bunny and throw it in a boiling pot of water on his stove (ala “Fatal Attraction”).

Trump should quick become a lawyer so he can defend himself. We know that Trump has a history of naming sleazebag losers as Vice President, as members of his Presidential staff, and to be members of his cabinet. Trump can’t work with Republican leaders in the House or the Senate, whom he calls “broken old crow” and other names. The only way forward is for him to be his own Vice President, his own presidential staff and his own cabinet, and for him to rule by decree rather than rely on the uniparty in Congress. Likewise, the only way Trump can - finally! - get a good lawyer to defend him from this indictment and perhaps to overturn the 2020 election, is for Trump to be his own lawyer.
Looking back, if Trump had been his own lawyer, he could have handled his bimbo eruptions more discretely, avoided the Treasurer of Trump Enterprises copping a plea deal for tax fraud, and maybe even avoided settling multiple lawsuits of Trump University.
But, Trump has allowed others of lesser ability to represent him (which, when you’re Trump, is kind of inevitable). Maybe this was because of his generosity in allowing others the opportunity to work with him. But, whatever the reason, Trump for his own good and for the good of the nation has to stop relying on others.
