The first sentence of the excerpt is wrong:

“the term “g-force” is misleading, because it refers to acceleration due to gravity.”

G-force as a term also applies to sports cars, e.g. cornering and accelerating, to rockets, and to centrifuges, whether for humans (e.g. for fighter pilots) or for biological samples (e.g. density gradient centrifuges). 1 g is 9.8 m/sec^2 no matter the origin of the acceleration.

IIRC, relativity suggests that those within a powerful gravitational field do not experience g-forces (i.e., the right angle maneuvers with which many of us are familiar).

But, of course, ‘science’ has yet to publicly demonstrate such a scenario.

Bob Lazar has this all figured out.

Yep

“This is reminiscent of how some scientifically-minded critics of early steam-locomotives believed that the human body could not withstand speeds above 50 mph.”

Another example was Oppenheimer’s fear about testing the first atomic bomb. He (and many other leading scientists of the day) were totally convinced that one above ground nuclear explosion would destroy the entire atmosphere of the planet. That is what their equations told them.

In retrospect it was crazy to take the chance....but we got lucky.

I once saw two enormous UFOs flying slowly in tandem up about 3,000 feet in a bright cloudless sky. They were utterly quiet, but the strangest thing was how gracefully, almost balletically, they moved and at times even tumbled across the sky. It was startling enough to see them, but the manner of their movement impressed me the most. I thought about it for a long time afterward before I realized that what I saw were two completely weightless things: that despite their impressive size these two objects had no inertia, momentum, or even wind resistance whatsoever.

but there is no known off switch for gravity..

Emphasis on the "known," which is my point.

I think that you may have missed the point of the Alcubierre drive and the physics behind it.

In essence, no internal G forces are generated because there is no acceleration of the spacecraft relative to its immediate space. Instead, the chunk of space around it moves.

To take your example, if our cars operated that way, then no one would feel the strain of acceleration because a car, its passengers, and the contents would not move or be subject to acceleration even though the space around it moved.

There is no speed involved. The aliens simply bend space and time and appear wherever they want whenever they want. I heard it on Art Bell....

Consider that some alien civilization so advanced in technology that they have mastered intergalactic space travel. Why would they spend the capital and resources needed to travel across the galaxy to come specifically to earth and interact with to them is a very primitive often war like society? Earth has no unique resources that they could not more easily obtain or manufacture with their advanced technology. If pure conquest was their goal with the technology they possess to travel across intergalactic space we would have long been subjugated. Could the UFOs be unmanned alien probes sent to study us perhaps, but again why here and not some other closer civilizations? For decades we have been searching for advanced extraterrestrial civilizations to reveal their presence by radio waves… so far nothing. I am thus skeptical that these unknown phenomena are manifestations of extraterrestrials visiting earth.

Any means of navigating about the Galaxy faster than our current understanding of physics, would probably have resolved this issue already.

Take for example the early theories around the Alcubierre drive. It warps 3d-space/time around your ship effectively insulating you from inertia as you aren’t “technically” moving at all.

An advanced civ might have figured out how to “de-couple” the mass of their ship from local space/time thereby freeing it from things like inertia and local limits on light speed.

Your post has a bunch of hidden assumptions.

Let us unpack them.

You are assuming that interplanetary or intergalactic travel is expensive for advanced civilizations. What is they are virtually free (or dirt cheap) using wormholes/portals and the vehicles are even more common than cars here?

In that case tourists or even teens having fun might take joy rides all over the place.

We do not know what resources they could produce and what they would need (or want) to get from other sources. Earth does have a wonderful variety of DNA—it might be of value to them.

In any event a civilization a million years ahead of us in technology would be able to shield themselves from our sensor technology easily.

More significantly they might be able to influence our thoughts so that even if we saw them we would not understand what we saw.

Lastly—radio waves are about the dumbest move possible by an advanced civilization. It is announcing your location—definitely not a sign of intelligence. Only humans are dumb enough to make that move.

I call SETI the Search For Extra-terrestrial Idiots.

Both cases could be valid, depending upon what this eventually turns out to be.

Some abductees say that we were created by those ETs. They have been here all along and control our evolution. We are, in essence, their children. That is their interest in us.

Yeah they don’t call astronauts death defiers with nerves of steel for nothing. Neil Armstrong while in the Gemini program was in a spin as one of the attitude control jets malfunctioned and calmly radioed Houstin that he was about to pass out. And then he barely ejected from a hover simulator, and he was like “It’s fine”. Nerves of steel, my friend.

Some of them climbed aboard a Saturn V the second time even knowing what it was going to feel like.
