In all humility, I hope anyone who believes Ayn Rand’s atheism will reconsider.
The above summary of Rand’s atheism is really only another version of the ancient claim “God doesn’t exist because I don’t see any evidence of his existence.”
It doesn’t take into account the evidence of creation.
But we’re really getting sidetracked. You noted earlier that Moral injustice, including racism, is perpetrated much more by communists. This is largely a result of the communist rejection of objective moral law, specifically Christian doctrine. To obey God is to love all people regardless of race. And anyone calling themselves Christian while perpetually violating this principle is not truly a Christian. Yet Godless Objectivism rejects Christianity, is highly moral, more about freedom without the Christian constraints inflicted upon it and outright rejects communism. Square that up.
Well, no, it’s not an inverse. The starting point is creation. Atheists have no viable explanation for it, so their position is minus one.
Objectivism borrows moral principles from Christianity. This is necessary for objectivism, because it has no independent justification for moral principles.
