There’s a documentary series on why Germany lost the war. They made Hitler and the Nazis look like idiots. I thought that can’t be right. Then I thought about it, and yes, from 1941 on, Hitler made an awful lot of bad decisions. Probably one country can’t take on the world and win, but after the fall of France Hitler was usually wrong when he overrode his generals’ advice.
