I don’t know who is advising DeSantis but they are idiots. If DeSantis is doing this to himself, then he deserves his political fate. He should have recognized months ago that he had no path the the nomination except for a longshot comeback (very long shot) or because of the indictments. So instead of bowing out and saving his chances in 2028, he is being told that the only way to make in-roads is to criticize Trump whenever there is an opening. How absolutely idiotic. Even if an indictment lead to criminal sentencing and Trump was out of the race, you’d still have NEEDED his supporters. At one time, there was a big overlap between Trump and DeSantis because of the way Ron ran Florida and cooperated with Trump.
I think that because he went all in on criticizing Trump, he knows his future is screwed and is going all in on the longshot comeback. Makes no strategic sense whatsoever.
I would think that most conservatives think this was stupid of Hamas and will be a setback for them while it helps the people’s causes that Hamas most hates.
Hamas is stupid, they are violent and pulled off a surprise raid against unarmed civilians and a music concert, which shows how simple and stupid they are, they lashed out and only set the vast global backlash into motion.
This was more about the northern front against Hezbollah.
I guess time will tell. One thing we can all agree on is that was dumb of Ron and his campaign manager to ever let his Meatball nickname out in the open.

Respecting your enemy’s capabilities is smart strategy and keeps you from being caught off guard (again), and it is in NO WAY respecting your enemy themselves.
When Trump says they are smart, he is not tipping his cap to them. The context is a WARNING to those who will listen and learn

Thankfully we had 4 years of Trump to compare against both the R Swamp and D Swamp teams..
We’d still think Bush,Dole,Bush,McCain,Romney were fighting a noble fight against the Swamp, instead of filling it and enriching it..
