Wimpy.
The USA of old is going down without a fight.
Seems to me she didn’t admit to “knowingly and willfully” doing anything, so no confession of violating the law.
Looks like she’s just trying to throw all the other lawyers under the bus.
Am I wrong here?
What did they threaten her with to get the plea?
Her testimony does nothing to the BS case & Turley knows it.
falsity and facilitated the crime.
So, what happens if/when Pres Trump proves that felons and dead people voted in Georgia?
Because for damned sure, neither Kemp, Raffensberger, nor Carr are going to admit to being part of the scam.
she was allegedly one of trump’s attorneys. attorney client privilege exists between her and trump (yes?) to my understanding with a possible exception for criminal wrongdoing.
the piercing of attorney client privilege must be made difficult, or else no client can be assured of any privilege with any lawyer. how can smith pierce trump’s attorney client privilege with ellis? what criminal wrongdoing by trump has already gone to court and trump already adjudged guilty? or is that still be decided somewhere, somehow?
She spent all of 12/2020 saying the fraud was obvious, explicit, and numerous.
Ms. Ellis was specifically charged with violating the RICO act and soliciting a violation of oath by a public officer.
Those charges are both felonies and carry a combined prison term of up to 23 years.
....
That was the Swamp’s threat..

Bingo! BTTT
RE: She spent all of 12/2020 saying the fraud was obvious, explicit, and numerous.
Her “punishment” looked extremely lenient.
It is either that plea deal or fight the government with its limitless money and end up in bankruptcy.
What choice do you have?
All the prosecution got in return was for her to agree that she will "tell the truth".
Turley isn't right. The deal is not "ominous".The deal shows that the prosecution has nothing and that the case is bogus.
RE: All the prosecution got in return was for her to agree that she will “tell the truth”.
Next question : What “truth” ( note the quotes ) do they want her to tell?
“Looks like she’s just trying to throw all the other lawyers under the bus.”
The only thing I see thrown under the bus are the voluminous RICO felony charges and the lengthy prison sentences that come with them - if convicted.
So a couple of lawyers have entered misdemeanor pleas and received piddly-fines and probation. Sounds like her real admission is being an amateur lawyer and in over her head.
The news cycle of ‘Trump associates plead guilty!!’ is the best they can get, and they know it.
They’re pleading these cases out because the PROSECUTION does not want their evidence, or lack thereof, on public display before the main event - Trump.
“ I believed that challenging the results on behalf of President Trump should be pursued in a just and legal way. I endeavored to represent my client to the best of my ability…What I did not do, but I should, was make sure the facts that the other lawyers alleged to be true were in fact true. In the frenetic pace of attempting to raise challenges to the election in several states, including Georgia, I failed to do my due diligence.”
She hates Trump, has for years. Abd she has no money to fight this abd is trying to save her law license
Good assessment. Thank you.
Watch her apology. In her apology, where did she apologize for witnessing Trump breaking the law?
Agree
