Now it will be a $1.10 menu.
Let's say he makes $12.00/hr. That ten minutes of labor costs $2.00. Ok, we give him a raise to $15.00. Now that 10 minutes of labor is $2.50.
So the now the meal costs $10.50, .50 increase. Wow, what a crises.
Well I think the restaurant also adds in overhead.....
other considerable costs to run a restaurant........
rent, utilities, insurance, upkeep, cost of foodstuffs,
other personnel like the execs, accountants, lawyers.....
and so on and so forth.
Del Taco three years ago had numerous items at a buck. Today it’s the $2 and under menu with most items at $1.89 The only thing near a buck is a three bite value taco. It will be the $3 and under menu when the $20 Kalifornia fast food min. wage kicks in next week.
Having said that, the Del Taco $5.69 Birria Ramen is the bomb and worth every penny.
