Now c'mon. You know he meant he hadn't seen any action before he actually saw the action.

---I used to think CBS news was biased. Now I know that they are CORRUPT.---
I asked my wife why CBS and Dan Rather would be defending these obvious forgeries. Could they really believe that the documents are real? Have they been victims of a hoax? She interupted me, saying, "They're crooks."
I gave her the last word...
Thanks for the laugh!
Yup. That's it. Shows the th and th. Also I heard that the 13 point space between lines is a characteristic of computer generated (MS Word) documents. Typewriters had a different separation.
Dan Rather believes Bush's Guard service is an issue. He really DOES believe there is something more than what Bush has said. He is not satisfied with Bush's answers or response. Because of that, pretty much anything that would bring Bush's service into the spotlight is going to seem relevant to Rather.
Even tonight his basic response was forget about the memo's, let's get everybody talking about Bush's guard service.
I hope it backfires but the reality is that Rather took the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth off the front page and replaced them with Bush's ANG. That was his goal and so far he's succeeded. Unfortunately. I hate the press.
LOL!
ROFL!
There is also the problem that Gen Staudt retired in 1972!!!!
(But I can type on an IBM selectric)
Doesn't the fake document use proportional fonts, and the real one user monospace ones?
