I've tried everything. I even went cold turkey with no FR for about 6 months, but it's hopeless. I'm on a kind of "binge and purge" cycle now.....it's ruining my life...

Any thought of u b a troll were dispelled when I found how deeply immersed you are. The symptoms will continue unabated through Nov. 3. Then boredom and a deep sense of adrenalin buildup. You get curious about less friendlier sites and even indulge in slumming. But you will be back to FR in a short time. They always come back.
Welcome to FR. Keep your powder dry and keep your head and butt down while under fire. They always forget to keep their butts down.

I, too found I was spending way too much time each day on FR.
I DID find an online 12 step program to try and break me of the habit.. It was ok in the beginning, but the meetings are now 12 hours long.

I put the coffee pot on when I get up, then head for FR, then when my coffee is done dripping go get a cup, put it on one of those little coffee cup warmers...sip, FReep, sip, FReep. Then go get hubby off to work. Then come back and Freep and sip water, Freep and eat, etc. All day long. My name is Gail and I'm a FReepaholic.
