There's a supposed conspiracy where all kinds of Microbiologists keep dying under mysterious circumstances. There are web sites all over the internet about it. I was reading over in Threat Matrix today and two posts were about Microbiology grad students who were murdered.
So, I started the dead scientist thread. Some of the posts on this thread list some of the dead scientists.
It's along the lines of 'did aliens actually build the Egyptian pyramids'? Mostly just for laughs and entertainment.
