And newbie,this thread is calling for sanity to return to FR. You are part of the problem, so this thread is something you need to take to heart. It has nothing whatsoever with being passive/PC towards our enemies,but about sanity returning to FR, which has seen mob hysteria these past 2 weeks.
You are right. I am letting myself get carried away here. So are many others. It just seems that I feel powerless at this moment, and it seems like all of the work we all did last November has been for naught.
You are right, I guess we all do need to take a little breather, before we get too outraged.
The mass hysteria and mob madness that has over run and now completely RUINED FR, is precisely what our enemies love and are cheering. IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?
The Terri madness has obliterated any and all other news here. And that alone,is disgusting beyond measure!
Thank you for realizing how off the deep end you and many others went. Now is the time to regain sanity here and concentrate on next steps. Blaming the Bush family for Terri's plight, is sheer insanity.

I do NOT blame Bush or Jeb for ANY of this. W did all he could do, WITHOUT causing a constitutional crisis(AND- I have NEVER said I did blame him or his brother) If Jeb had sent the troops in there, there probably would have been a shoot -out. I knew that. (when I said "storm the castle", I meant the JUDICIARIES, not the white house. It just seems inplausible, that a judge can IGNORE a president and congress, at his will.
The ones I blame Are MS, Greer, and Felos, along with the pro-death crowd, and some of them are here on FR.

LOL!! Teddy Bear I must say, I stand here tonight a proud "Hand Em Their Arse" :) I was happy to see some who understood my point in posting this thread this morning... It really wasn't meant to be a "Hey, can ya kiss me first next time" type of thing, it really wasn't...
Alot of people made some really messed up decisions for this poor girl over the past few weeks, months and years and I don't doubt for second, they will pay for those decisions dearly.... I just felt horrible for Terri and her parents, that many of the people who shared their thoughts and prayers with them in their time of struggle during Terri's life, would now not take the time to offer the same thoughts and prayers in the time of Terri's death....
It seemed that today should be a day of mourning, and not name-calling, of loving support for Bob and Mary Schidler and not hate-filled vitriol for the other side.... I was glad to see many who felt the same.... :)

This thread was so much better earlier in the day prior to self ri..oh wait I said that I wouldnt say anything bad. I have been given my "Newbie Badge of Courage". So for those of you who joined the "happy go lucky people" who have been playing nice all day..THANKS!! I really appreciate the possitve folks who welcome me with open arms. Thats true. I wonder why DU was included in the "be nice to everyone" thread. I agree about not bashing other Freepers and newbies, etc. But I don't think I can refrain from bashing DU. They are not grieving for Terri. They wanted her dead to hurt us.

Hey, I agree with you, BeckySue, but my reason for the posting this thread was not to ignore the hatred and vitriol from those opposing you entirely. It was more to take the higher road.....just for yesterday, that's all...
I'm going tom sound like a ridiculously annoying broken recore so look at my other posts, you'll know more what I mean... Basically, there's a time for us to be in our attack back mode, and yesterday to me, shouldn't have been it. Yesterday, your heart should've been filled with love and good thoughts for Terri and her family..... and that's all it should've been filled with.... That's not just sitting there taking it, that's doing the "right" thing...
I understand what you meant. Yesterday was a time for grieving. There is such a level of frustration that in our country that is so concerned with rights, that Terri had none and no way we could help her. It was just so hopeless. I will grieve for Terri and feel this frustration for a long time.
You're absolutely right, Becky.... The frustration level, because of the lack of ability to do something was tremendous... I share that with you.... be well... :)
