I agree with your editorial---
and that is why I have pretty much stayed away from the "testy" posters and threads, because mine would just be another "opinion", and it was causing so much anger and hard feelings here on FR.
Posters that normally joke around in threads have suddenly gone mean and nasty---I just don't get it, just like JR said, it is all speculation and opinion except for ONE thing,
The whole world watched and let a poor disabled woman starve to death for TWO WEEKS and thats OK? NO- I can't accept that for FR, or my country or humanity.
As for the FReepers that have chosen to leave because of this---it is their loss

Smart man. He just put about a gazillion pro-lifers posts into one small piece. I couldn't have said it better myself - literally.

Clear, succinct and to the point.
Nothing further need be said(although plenty will be).

I gotta go with Jim on this.
The government and unaccountable judges have moved into activities that have condemned the law abiding Nazis at Nuremberg.
The only difference with Terri is that she got more publicity than the others murdered in similar fashion before her.

When the judges come to starve my children I'll be quoting Charlton Heston: From my cold, dead hands.

I agree. It was murder by judicial fiat plane and simple.

In this country, you can kill unborn babies and people who society deems to have no value, yet it is nearly impossible to kill convicted murderers. Almost makes you wanna write an opus, move to the woods and grow your own food.

While I am in total agreement with your essay on Terri, I have yet to hear what you would propose as a solution to the judicial tyranny that we face.
Care to share?

Amen, brother. Amen.
People that can stand around and defend the judicial murder by starvation of an innocent disabled woman by claiming that they believe in the "rule of law" are truly frightening, IMHO.
If nothing else, the Terri Schiavo atrocity exposed an awful lot of "politics over principle" types.

It was judicial murder, pure and simple.
