Well, I am in the Navy.
I am already in "THEIR" employ.
"The most loving thing you can do with some people is hit them upside the head with a 4 X 4. Even then some will still not wake up."
I don't consider that UFO's and your government conspiracy theories are anything I would want to take up to.
Not something I'd choose to wake up to, necessarily, either.
REALITY is a different issue.
Yes and no.
Certainly the Navy has had longer involvement with the UFO stuff than a lot of segments of the military.
Though, one Air Force officer claimed he hadn't met any Air Force pilots of any significant length in the service who had NOT seen a UFO in the normal course of their flying and duties.
I was a Navy Radioman RM2
Wellllll, you can reasonably call that hyperbole.
However, given your attitude and postings . . .
given Astronaut Mitchell's now very public statements affirming essentially Greer's construction on the UFO reality . . .
as well as 400 other quality witnesses--military and scientific experts all agreeing with Astronaut Mitchel
. . . you still end up calling folks on my side of the issue fools.
Seems to me, Greer, Mitchell et all are considerably less of a fool than you are.
BTW, you did NOT, I gather, have a close relative who worked around UFO's on a daily basis, now, did you.
I can't say that. I did.
You may not believe your mother, father, brother etc. when they tell you something. You may think THEY are all fools, too.
I believe my trustworthy relatives.
All the more so when essentially 45 years of study have confirmed one way or another everything he's said.
Go ahead and call us fools. This shrink considers them more reality based on this topic than you seem to be.
BTW, you know someone . . . and I suspect at least 3-4 someone's
in the Navy or who have been in the Navy
who know the validity of the UFO phenomenon and the government involvement with it.
I suspect at least one or 2 of them would at least affirm that much, if not more. Though one would have to approach them in a suitable context etc. etc.
This reveals their intent to sanitize the facts for public consumption. Like you, I believe the credible witnesses, including my parents who saw a VERY visible UFO in the 'fifties here in California, along with twenty other people.
Thanks for posting this interesting piece, Quix.
ABSOLUTELY.
Thanks much for your brave post.
Would you be willing to give more details of your parent's siting hereon or by FREEPMAIL?
I'll never forget it! My Mom and Dad were at a gas station (called a filling station in those days) in San Pedro, California on a clear day in the summer of 1951. At least twenty people, including my parents, observed a cigar-shaped craft in the sky, hovering. I never asked them for an estimate of how high they thought it was, but from all accounts it was very visible, and it WASN'T "swamp gas", it was a solid silver metal-looking vehicle. After it hovered for a few minutes, it suddenly took off at astonishing speed. It definitely wasn't an airplane.
It was reported to the local newspaper, but nothing about it was printed. At least twenty people witnessed it, including people from neighboring businesses and homes. I wish I had been one of them, but I wasn't. This is an event that my old-fashioned parents and other observers actually witnessed and were willing to swear to, but the news just disappeared. My Mom in later years said that she wished she had had a camera with her, but people didn't carry cameras around with them like they do now. True story.
Thanks for posting!
Thanks tons.
NO doubt about the validity at all.
Appreciate your confirmation.
You're welcome, Quix. Glad to share. I have been fascinated with this subject ever since my folks came home that day and described the incident to my brother and me. I was 12 at the time, my brother was 19.
Sure. Thanks for keeping the backup ping list!
They sure have effective ways of squelching true reports having propper airing in the news.
Thanks.
What has your brother said about the topic since then???
yes indeed, late night radio is loaded to the gills with bullschtein. However, Greer speaks some things true. This I know for a fact. The Petrol cartel is dangerous and murderous and not to be crossed. I'm only surprised that Greer is still alive.
A close personal friend of mine was president of a major company in that area. He knew how to achieve an oil-free energy source. When I asked him why he didn't spend some of his considerable fortune developing those energy sources, which he could have done, no sweat, he turned pale, told me that he'd be killed if he did so.
Even then, as now, the newspapers ignored it, probably fear of ridicule.
Probably orders from headquarters, so to speak, to trash the story.
Thanks.
