In the trailer, the first car looks like it has a black interior and a subsequent shot has a tan interior (with what looks like an alpine deck unit). Burton looks the best I've seen him in years.

Good catch. Looks like a giant donut, instead of the box-racing numbers. Check out the wheels after that jump, too - not the regular wheels. They might have used a beater for that jump.

Saw this a couple of days ago and...well...even though I'm a Dukes of Hazzard (Ver 1.0) fan I LIKED it. Usually I rail at remakes but in this case I think they got it right. At what you can see from the trailer.

Rather than remake the TV series, I think they took the legend and started over with new actors. It's kinda hard to say new with the likes of Willie, Burt Reynolds and Linda Carter in the cast, but it looks like they >might< have pulled it off.

While The General dosen't appear to have quite the same top treatment, the Stars and Bars ARE still there, maybe just a bit smaller. GOOd, sez I!

It sounded like they used Waylon as well, maybe with a new background mix...another cool thing.

It's there. Watch again. The camera angles are minimizing it's appearance, but the rebel flag is clearly on top where it belongs.

There's a few other scenes where that car is used, too -- the "pulse" scenes. It's rusted and washed-out.

Also, the scene where he jumps across the hood is reversed. I need to quit, because I'm scaring myself.

Bo and Luke's looks are supposed to be clean-cut and wholesome. I don't like the new dirty unshaved look. And I think Boss Hogg should be fat.

LOL! We're giving the General a CSI investigative treatment. The original series had some inconsistencies among cars, too though. I'm just happy the battleflag, the CB antennae and the Dixie horn are still there.

Daisy upgraded her Jeeper, but could you imagine if the Dukes ran a 2005 Charger? That would be really scary.

Right - the clean cut country boy look is out. Unshaven and rock star sunglasses are in, I guess. They treated woman with respect and didn't tell bathroom jokes, if IIRC.
