Hmm ...don't know but that would be cool. The title of his first album says it all to me. "Put the O back in C untry"
For the most part waht passes for country today makes me wanna spit. The music is sold by the lawyers. And the fools who fiddled in the middle of the station are gone.
In any case am I the only one who remembers the ORIGINAL DUKES Movie? It predated the TV show by several years...I think there was only one Duke boy and that wasn't his name. But The Boar's Nest, Boss Hogg and several other icons were featured.
The storyline was similar but MUCH darker.

You're thinking of the film The Moonrunners from 1975.

On August 5th, Volcano/Legacy Records will re-release the soundtrack to the original television series that first hit stores in 1981.

Willie is a Texan. His accent is legitimate."

The CBF is still there?
I don't know about Shooter.
man....I saw him acouple of years ago at local bar.
He still seemed like a kid. Always was nice and unpretentious.
I like his new stuff. I hear he's acting too now.
We are going to LS a week from Friday at Starwood. Cross Canadian Ragweed too. And Richard Thompason the night before.

Can't say that I've heard him yet. If he's anything even close to I and II he's heads above most of the country today.I'll have to give a listen.

Wonder why they didn't show Rosco P. Coltrane? He's conspicuously absent from the trailer.

In the trailer, the first car looks like it has a black interior and a subsequent shot has a tan interior (with what looks like an alpine deck unit). I wonder if that plays into the storyline -- that we get to see the transformation of an early Charger into the "General Lee."
