I believe ER workers have a name for the helmetless motorcycle rider: organ donor Don't go there,my friend.Once,in a thread about motorcycles,I stated that in Emergency Rooms (I worked in one for 20+ years) bikes are referred to as "donor cycles"
I was called some very, very nasty things by a number of individuals after that.

I don't understand why professional athletes feel the need to ride motorcycles. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Can't it wait until retirement?

You'd think it would be written into his contract that he's not allowed to ride a motorcycle... The write it right into your contract in the NBA. Riding a motorcycle VOIDS your contract, and for good reason. Just ask promising Bulls point guard Jay Williams who ruined his career pulling a stunt like this. He was lucky that the Bulls decided to pay him the rest of his contract, they didn't have to.
Rothlisberger is a moron for pulling a stunt like that.

I received a little bump while on my cycle...probably only 10-15 mph from behind and I thought I was gonna' DIE !!!!!
I can't imagine what a real cycle accident is like.

My buddy crashed in full race gear and still lost a leg when he wrapped it around a guard rail.
Motorcycles aren't worth it.

Thankfully I was wearing a full face and just I was a little woozy for about 15 minutes. I shudder to think what would have happened to me, had I not wearing a helmet. You're very smart for wearing one. It has saved many riders. The macho types figure it'll never happen to them.

I don't believe they specified but didn't sound like it. I only heard the announcement.

Asked for an autograph? If the Roth is seriously hurt, that driver better ask for witness protection, his or her fault or not.
