I don't get it either. Bernhard is an offensive person.
And I'm not talking about her looks. Lauren Hutton's
lanky and has a gap in her teeth, but she oozes inner
beauty.

That's because Ms. Hutton has been able to let go of the bad experiences in her life, learn from them and still see the joy in things. She may be a wacky lib, but she's a sprited firecracker -- and I bet she's fun to drink with.
Sandra Bernhard, on the other hand, still can't get over not being prom queen. A nearly sixty year old woman who's still stuck, emotionally, in junior high. She just oozes resentment, entitlement and just plain narcissistic adolescent angst.
The ad kept focusing on her mouth--obviously because it's a lipstick ad, but what still gets me -- why do they pick a woman with such a phenomenally UGLY mouth to promote their product?
Buy our lipgloss, and it will look this bad on you too!
Anjelina Jolie, Michelle Pfeiffer, Uma Thurman... they'd convince me to buy MAC, but not that mean spirited hermaphrodite, Bernhard.

Still, these cosmetic salesmen might be on to something. Beautiful women look beautiful without makeup. That market's totally saturated... on the other hand, the unshaven-legs bowser market is (er) untapped.

I use MAC, and it's clear from their displays, salespeople, background music and attitude at each store that they're at least pretending to be trendy young things who are naturally assumed to be libs. I bet they're getting a wake-up call about now concerning who many of their customers really are! My email has been sent, at least.

Senator Hillary Clinton was invited to address a
major gathering of The American Indian nation two weeks ago in upper New York State.
She spoke for almost an hour on her future plans for
increasingevery Native American's present standard of living, should she one day become the first female President.
She referred to her career as a New York Senator,
how she had signed "YES" for every Indian issue that came to her desk for approval. Although the Senator was vague on the details of her plan, she seemed most enthusiastic about her future ideas for helping her "red sisters and
brothers".
At the conclusion of her speech, the Tribes
presented the Senator with a plaque inscribed with her new Indian name - Walking Eagle.
The proud Senator then departed in her motorcade,
waving to the crowds. A news reporter later inquired of the group of chiefs of how they had come to select the new name given to the Senator.
They explained that Walking Eagle is the name given
to a bird so full of shit it can no longer fly.
