How about Croc-Huntress PING?
Thanks for the ping!
This is an eight-year-old child who is being willingly exploited. Shameful.
What a doll-baby Bindi is! She is so very much her daddy's little girl. Her mannerisms, her inflection, the excitement in her eyes is so alike Steve. My gosh, I am still so sick thinking that he is really gone. His life was such a testimony for a great marriage, a greatly involved and loving father and a man with a passion for something.
Terri is so obviously pained without him. A love like they shared; she will never be the same.
Fortunately, the crew and the zoo staff have all been extended family for them for a long time. Getting in front of the camera again imho is the best thing for Bindi. Keeping things as "normal" as possible for Terri and the children is what the experts would recommend, and like it or not, this *is* normal for Miss Bindi.
Thank you kindly for the ping.
Sorry I can't play video on this puter, so I can't see what is on it - but I have been happy to see Bindi in several TV segments this week, showing that she is going "on with the show."
One of the clips had her saying her dad taught her a lot - especially that "you can say whatever you want to." The way she said it, her inflection, was so dear - meaning "speak up" and tell people what you think, don't be a shrinking violet. It wasn't "in your face - I'll say what I want" or anything like that.
She was also shown with a bison, saying it was a large one (it appeared to be a large baby, actually), holding the lead rope to it by herself - with helpers a foot away - and explaining to her kid audiences what a bison is.
Bless her, bless her. I just felt that she'd be tugging at Terri's khakis and saying "come on, Mum, let's get on with it!"

I think that's what most "experts" foget. This child was born on camera and has lived most of her life in front of one. The whole family went on these filming trips. While we may cringe at putting her in front of the camera, that IS what is normal for her. It's what she knows.
Great video. Happy to see Wes smile at the end. Bindi is an amazing little girl.
Also, glad to see John Stainton (sp?) stress that they were taking filming slowly, not continuously, to see how Bindi adjusts. He seemed more concerned with Bindi than the production, which eases my mind a bit!
I think Terri is a greatly involved, loving and perceptive mother. Her children are now even more her focus. She won't do a single thing to push Bindi; I have no doubt whatsoever. She will do what's best for Bindi and Bob and not what's best for ABC, Animal Planet, etc. And I will say it again...getting back into a normal routine is what will bring their "old life" back. And Bindi has been in front of the camera even before she crowned on her birth day.
