I’m hoping that Weir dies and Carter replaces here. O’Neil has his chance, now it’s McKay’s turn. :)
Folks quick question, would you all like an SG1 farewell episode live thread?????
I’d like it. I probably won’t be on during it. With three kids 5 and under I don’t usually watch it live, but I’ll be on the thread to post as soon as I watch it (usually about 10pm Eastern time).
She had an interesting look on her face when she recovered. To the kid's (and the writers') credit, he didn't force himself on any woman after he figured out what was going on.... at least they didn't show any.
Bite your tongue! As I've stated often, I operate on the assumption that Sam and Jack have been "together" in some way shape or form since "Threads" and the end of season eight.
(Note, I've probably read at least ten different "Sam and Jack get together at the cabin" fan fiction stories. The advantage of fan fiction is when the creators of a show screw up, you get a chance to correct them.)
I'm confident that the only way Rodney got the Sam in the alternate universe this season was that Jack was dead (heroically) and she was on the rebound...
True, I have some sympathy for the kid, he was clearly in over his head at the beginning. He did not expect a “band of followers” showing up with a female offering to their “god”.
Of course he quickly let it go to his head, when he tried to take over the city as Marco predicted.
I do think that Jordan Collier was more than a little jealous, don’t you think? He’s a great character, but I don’t trust him at all...
I also think that Kevin and Tess will be back later this season, and they won’t be on Collier’s side...
They have made Jordan an interesting character again. i was wondering last year when he was finally going to appear, as he was in the opening credits every week. When Lily died, she was out of the credits the following week.
I have to say that they are doing well continuing and reimaging a series that used up its "five-year plan" in its original miniseries. Jordan shouldn't turn out to be the villain of the piece but something necessary.
Speaking of openings, I noticed that it changed. I don't like the thought of 4400 "unique" abilities. The writers will definitely run out of ideas or come up with things some ridiculous you'd wonder why the future thought that it would be helpful. Granted, I don't want 200 telepaths and 350 telekinetics and such either. Just stay away from the silly, the all-powerful and the things that could seriously unbalance the series. (If you've ever played role-playing games, you'd know what I'm talking about.)
Oh, I don’t want McKay to win, I just think it would be fun to watch him try. Then Jack can pop up and propose in front of him. Sam would have to resign from the Air Force to lead Atlantis as a civilian so Jack might be a little ticked for a while that she quite for Atlantis but not for him.
Jack needs to get that advanced DNA of his passed on for the good of humanity. Of course, I suppose is younger clone could do that for him if he doesn’t wise up.
