Who pulled the plug?

Mother Nature did. I'm betting there's a big earthquake on the way.

Could be these Chinese diggers.

The Chinese Government has given
the final go-ahead to what is expected
to be one of the world's largest
water-transfer projects.

I noticed in the WSJ that Halliburton started selling “Spring Water” today?
Coincidence? I think not :P

It happened in Lakeland, Florida, when Scott Lake was sucked down a sink hole in the middle of the lake. Gave new meaning and value to “lakeside” property.

A tidal wave will probably spring up at the bottom of the mountain.

Bingo on both counts

And my wife says that I'm wasting my time watching those disaster shows on the History Channel. Yes, Alex, I'll take earthquakes for one thousand.

I’ve seen it happen here in Florida several times.
Heck in North Central Florida there is a river called the Santa Fe. It goes on for miles and then disappears underground for a while. The whole thing. You can be going along on raft or canoe an all of a sudden you come to signs to beware and get out as the river will suck you underground for miles.
