I got my chain saw on the kitchen floor and nobody running her mouth about it and I like it just fine.
Honey, is that you? LOL
Hmmmm, I like that idea.
Ha! I’m taking a break after putting up a few new window coverings!
I always liked the inside/outside division of labor. Along with the stinky/non stinky division. And the uponaladder/notonaladder division.
Actually I like the hedoesallthework/Isitaroundreadiing division of labor.
“I always liked the inside/outside division of labor. Along with the stinky/non stinky division. And the uponaladder/notonaladder division.”
This sounds familiar...we also have the cursing/non-cursing division of labor.
Wallpapering, painting, assembling book-shelves and baby cribs -these jobs provoke uncontrollable cursing in my husband. I do those jobs for a more peaceful household.
most guys know the correct answer is “Yes Dear” .
Honey Do List for Bill Clinton. They're not divorced yet....
1. Black mail the Hollywood crowd.
2. Give Nancy Pelosi a menacing look.
3. Give a campaign speech telling them how great her thighness would be as their president.
4. Prank call Dick Morris.
That’s how it works in our home. The cave’s mine and everything else is his. It’s worked for over 30 years, why tamper with success. :)
Who is splitting hairs, but the yahoo lesbo feminists and their brainwashed supporting media?
What is the value of this dumb article except to suggest that when women get their way they are happier in a marriage? Which is untrue. It is just more lefty propaganda brain washing.
As a married woman, I have found this above question and answer to be completely wrong and wholly inaccurate. Data please. What constitutes happiness please? Define please. What is letting a wife have her way really mean specifically? Define please.
My marriage is happiest when my husband doesn't allow me to push his butt around. He has gonads and stands up to me. THANK GOD! All the rest that let me have my way are long gone. Never had an ounce of respect for the wimps.
A key to a happy marriage for this woman is first choosing a man with a relationship with Christ in which he consults for decisions on a regular basis and a man that has a base of values from that relationship and brings that moral compass into each action/decision he can.
What is happiness anyway? Did Christ come to this earth so everyone could be HAPPY? HA! Maybe LSD had that intent or maybe all the drugs people take these days are oriented towards trying to make one happy all the time (with the opposite effect in the long run).
To me a marriage goal is not happiness, but to love and serve and enjoy the fruits of our labors.
Well du-uh.
Son: “Dad, why do brides wear white?”
Father: “All kitchen appliances are white.”
From a lifelong bachelor.
Well said. It was.........poetic!
These threads at FR are always entertaining to me.
Every relationship is different and is what the individuals involved make it.
If you are in a relationship that is uncomfortable to you - you need to look at your decision making skills.
Answer some of these...
* Why did you choose this person?
* Did you talk about your expectations beforehand?
* If the relationship changed - when and why did it change?
Stop blaming women or situations or Oprah - and find out where your relationship went wrong and how you can get it back on track.
Life is too short to be miserable.
If I’d let her have her way much longer I’d be sleeping under a bridge.
