Super Bowl.

Stanley Cup.

World Series? Not a chance in hell.

World Series? Not a chance in hell.

You got that right. Going to a Pirates game these days is damn depressing. I haven't gone to a game and seen a win since the 80's.

All the Pirates do is sign great players, grow them a little, then trade them when the price is right.

Although the World Series trophy will remain in the Keystone State.
The Fightin Phils will repeat.
The Phils knock the cover off the ball like no other team in MLB.

Red Wings have 11 Cups. Pens 3.

Detroit: starting from the modern era, 1927-2009 (40 years in a 6-team league): 11 cups, not bad.

Pittsburgh: vying for the cup since 1967: 3 cups, not bad.

Suck on that.

Not suckable. BTW, you can stop sucking whenever you like. If....

Not a very classy post on your part (unlike the class you claim the Red Wings displayed). If you did think about what your first sentence means you have no room to criticize anyone for lack of class or disrespecting anyone.

Crosby was pulled in several different directions after the game. Whether you like it or not he is the face of the NHL because he is a boy showing grown men how the game is played and how one lives off the ice.

He shook as many hands as he can and it's not his fault that the losing team traditionally and understandably doesn't want to hang around very long on the ice. Comparing Crosby to LeBron's disappearing act is ludicrous.

Sid and the Penguins' fans were much more gracious in the loss last year than were the Detroit fans. They booed when the Pens received the Cup and they cheered when Crosby was hurt. I think I smell some sour grapes.

All I know is I saw Coach Babcock shake Crosby's hand and say some very kind words about Sid and his leadership. It Babcock was okay with Sid's performance I don't see why anyone else shouldn't be.

We’re a AAAA minor league team.

Right. Ok.

Do you honestly believe if Hossa had been hurt in Pitt, that the crowd wouldn't have cheered? Oh, and I watched the finals last year, did you? There were boos everywhere when the Wings won. And lets be real here. If the Wings had a young captain that pulled the same thing Crosby did, Pens fans would be complaining as well.

And whether you like it or not, until Crosby starts acting like a man on the ice, in all possible aspects (esp. crying about non calls, etc.), he's going to get guff from thousands of hockey fans. Pulled in all directions, excited, etc... those sound like excuses people make for a boy, not a man.

One last thing. If you can't handle the 'language' used in hockey, perhaps you should find a new sport to watch.

Enjoy your Cup.

Yeah, I've watched the finals for about 30 years now and the Pittsburgh crowd was much better than the Detroit.

And this ain't the rink it's a discussion board - show some class - or is that asking too much from a Wings fan?

Show some class? Funny, if Crosby had just done his job as captain, we wouldn’t be having this discussion, would we?

The wings started off this serious crying and it looks like that's how they finished it.

Sid's got more class in one finger than Draper has in toto. Babcock should tell his boys to STFU.

Laughable. Cindy Crosby has had the rep for being a crybaby since joining the league. Maybe Lemieux can teach him a little more maturity since he’s living in the owners home- again.

You and I had this conversation two weeks ago. The wings started off w/

Oh, we only have one day off, its not Fair,

Oh we have to play back to back, its not Fair,

Oh, our best guy has a sore foot its not Fair,

Now it's;

oh Sidney should do this

oh, the Pens have no class

Puhleese, grow a set and enjoy the off season.

Yap, yap, yap. One moment in time- and a valid one as many hockey pundits also agreed with the scheduling flap- versus a boy who’s been crying since he’s been in the league. I’ve got a pair, thank you. Perhaps you should grow a brain.

That’s bull. There’s plenty of footage and video to prove otherwise. Draper and Lindstrom waited around a whole 15 seconds and left for the locker room. In fact, the first person Sidney shook hands with was Franzen, ironically the same dude who took Sid out of the game. So to say he has no respect for the game is complete crap.

Crosby was in the middle of an interview and being pulled in 20 different directions.

Sorry he didn’t get to King Draper fast enough./s

You obviously feel strong enough about it to comment/reply days later. And I have a life and don’t check the computer every day. Was out enjoying the win with a championship team yesterday.

I replied to you with facts and you would rather say I’m crying. No crying here, “bud”. I’m happier than a pig in mud.

Your comments are obviously not based on facts or logic and more on emotion. Sid has more respect for the game of hockey than most players. Saying anything but is ridiculous.
