Danes are so wonderful. I had two but my son stole one. Mine is a 32” tall female that weighs about 145. Absolutely the sweetest thing in the world. Gentle with kitties, small dogs and kids. They defintely think they are lapdogs. However, they are very intimidating to strangers. I'm alone most of the day here on the farm. If a man drives up that she doesn't know, she can be pretty scary.

All 4 of our Danes all loved to sit on the couch. I love Great Danes they really are gentle giants.

My St Bernard puts her paws on my shoulders like that,but
she`s not quite that tall.

Found out when you want to take a big dog for a ride you
pick up the front end first getting her in,then the back
end...whew
