"Whitley Streiber is currently a practicing Catholic."
Good news!
I heard him speak at a "New Age" conference an old GF dragged me too and at that time I got the distinct impression he was an atheist/New Ager (otherwise he would have taken his story to another venue altogether).
Also, there was no mention of God in the entirety of Communion IIRC...though there was that discussion of the profound evil quality he found to exist when near the grays.
Good to hear he has gotten serious about his faith.
I wonder how his new found faith has affected his abduction experiences?
The serpent convinced Eve to eat of the apple from the tree of knowledge. She gave the apple to Adam and convinced him to eat of it.
Then Adam 'saw' that Eve was naked, and that he was naked.
'We' think we know it all, yet we know very little.
We can't even figure out how primitive, cave-dwelling, illiterate slaves could build the Great Pyramid in the edge of a desert, many thousands of years ago.
INDEED.
THX.
Imagine that. You figured that out nicely. Don'tcha just love metaphorical truisms? I won't even get started on the Sumerian texts that say the valley of the gods was called Eden (Ur) and the first hybrid/prototype Annunaki/Hominid was called The Adam.
INDEED.
THX.
The Saviour of Mankind
I know the writers of the books of the Bible weren't beyond a bit of plagiarism, here and there. Especially when attempting to explain the origin of mankind, starting with the Origin of TIME and SPACE, and do it all in one chapter.
Everything is in the Bible. You just have to know how to look.
Am I now 'with the program'?
Odd, however, that watching COSMOS gave one (at least me) the impression that the Universe is FULL OF LIFE.
Which eventually led to the hybrid automobile. And seeing if we can recreate the conditions that existed at the beginning of the Universe (if such a thing actually occurred), even if it causes the end of 'our' Universe.
Thanks!
The one thing you can count on from the Bible is brevity, that's for sure.
According to some that's the absolute truth. I've yet to find any musings on quark spin, however. Maybe that's in Leviticus.
Find it very difficult anyone can believe these historical scams spread on the net in order to keep the masses engaged, and their coffers filled with the cash flows generated from it all.....but then there are those who want to live on the fringe of reality and I suppose any story of history to entertain the mind would work quite well.
Trouble is when you can actually search the resources of these supposedly historians you find them all interconnected with the whole scam....it takes time to do this of course and work to see who is who...but the end result is always the same...it’s a scam and many are making very good money doing this....in fact it’s becomming popular to switch sides and make more money doing so...and they all go laughing all the way to the bank.
So the Sumerian and Akkadian tablets are all scams? Dang, who knew the first civilizations are still scamming us today. Exactly which historians are profiting from the “scam” of interpreting cuneiform texts?
Thanks
To some.
IMHO, the absolute truth is that it's all in your mind. The 'story' of the Bible is in your mind. The Big Bang is in your mind. Even the Universe is in your mind.
All the questions and all the answers are there as well. The mind can answer all your questions. Many ask, but few know how to listen. Monks spend their entire lives attempting to learn to listen well.
