I already do this. There is nothing that man says that I need to hear. For some reason the media, even at Fox News love McCain. I remember when McCain came in fourth (FOURTH!!) in Iowa, Fred Barnes said it was great for McCain and then he went on to win NH. Fred Thompson came in third but nary a word about him.

They pulled for him in NH, in SC, in FL and now they’re pulling for him in AZ. He is a cancer. Let us remove him!

“They” know what you’re watching. Years ago they tried putting commercials at the beginning of vhs tapes. It didn’t work because they knew people were fast forwarding. I studied this crap in college. With cable they always know what you’re watching. Some believe the TV is a two way deal. It watches you while you watch it. I wouldn’t doubt it.

As for turning it off when mccain comes on, I’ll add him to the list of obama, motormouth hannity, o’ in love with himself reily, etc.

FNC for FNF is attacking Phylis Schafly!!

They are going off on a feminist rant with all of them.

Attacking Phylis for the FACT 70% of unwed mothers voted for Obama.

We need the morning news thread.

It seems the blond de jour will pimp for mccaim or any left wing cause.

When they stop returning to the OP(formerly the GOP) who continually ignores conservative values.

In which case they will be so politically irrelevent that they will have no media coverage at all.

I see the lessons of 2006 and 2008 still have not sunk in with the 100%er crowd here.

Only God is perfect. Nothing of men ever is. Demanding perfect purity in Politics is a sure prescription for political irrelevance. This is why the Libertarian wing of the Conservative movement has been so completely ineffective for the last 20 years. This is why Conservatives always lose to the RINOS.

The Purist choir all keep wasting all their time making the perfect the enemy of the good. They are so busying spending all their time worrying about the dogmatic purity in their political allies they never have any time, or energy left to fight the Leftists on anything. They are so busy factionalizing their political base into competing interest groups, they have nothing left to ever fight the progressives. No wonder the Left is continually kicking the their asses in election after election.

As one famous Conservative leader said “ A man who agrees with me 80% of the time is a trusted friend and ally, not a 20% traitor”

Curious what these sort of ideological purist would of said about a President who presided over a worse recession then this current one, appointed a Liberal to the Supreme Court, Raised taxes 6 times, doubled the size of the Fed Budget in 8 years. Spent, prior to this regime, record deficits. Ran away from a Muslim terrorist threat. Signed an illegal Alien Amnesty. Lost control of the US Senate to the Democrats on his watch.

What would they say about that? Using the sort of purist dogma shouted on every possible thread daily around here, I suspect, the Purist Choir would be screaming “RINO” at that former President and assigning him to rank down there with Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, U.S. Grant, and Warren Harding as one of America’s worst Presidents because he did not pass their personal ideological purity test.

That President was Ronald Reagan. Probably the greatest President of the 20th Century.

Reagan had words for your sort of ideological 100%er.

By Ronald Reagan in his autobiography An American Life

“When I began entering into the give and take of legislative bargaining in Sacramento, a lot of the most radical conservatives who had supported me during the election didn’t like it. “Compromise” was a dirty word to them and they wouldn’t face the fact that we couldn’t get all of what we wanted today. They wanted all or nothing and they wanted it all at once. If you don’t get it all, some said, don’t take anything. I’d learned while negotiating union contracts that you seldom got everything you asked for. And I agreed with FDR, who said in 1933: ‘I have no expectations of making a hit every time I come to bat. What I seek is the highest possible batting average.’ If you got seventy-five or eighty percent of what you were asking for, I say, you take it and fight for the rest later, and that’s what I told these radical conservatives who never got used to it.”

Fox news ceases to be Fox News when McCain is on. Kind of like Air Force one is only AF1 when the President is aboard.

I ahve for almost two years turned off any show, radio or TV that has McCain, Newt and several others.

When Sean has Beckel on his show I turn him off too.

I barely ever watch FOX anymore - it is RINO Central.

The problem is that they have a huge viewership - this is helping John McCain.

FOX SUX.

I have seen McCain on a few times hardly ever dee Rpmmney on Fox News. I think your claims are overstated and fortunately most people on FR are smart enough to make their own choices.

RINOS like mccain and left wing talking points only get on the air because of some back room producer or show preper.

The same slimes that give Palin technical problems with microphones.

Purge the staffers = fix the problem.

Given McCain’s 20 point advantage in the Primary, are you also going to vote Democrat in the General Election?

Fox does not know when someone changes channels. We'll have to wait till Obama forces us to have a special 1984 box hooked up to our TVs so The State can determine what we're watching.

Has anyone noticed how beautifully Fox is currently providing soap boxes for tons of liberal mouthpieces to sound off and spread their poison?

When Laura Ingraham was on as a Factor substitute last week, she had one liberal on after another. It was incredible. I couldn't believe my eyes and ears. I felt I was watching nightly sessions of the Comintern.

It's almost like the network feels it has to balance Beck's afternoon hour-of-power by regularly stuffing liberals, socialists, communists and lunatics into the O'Reilly, Hannity and Greta time-slots at night....and down the throats of viewers as well.

Plus, too many Fox conservative contributors are weak sisters wasting valuable air space....like Rove, Dana Perino, Mary Katherine, Rich Lowry, Luntz and poor John Stossel (a good intellect reduced to being O'Reilly's pinata).

I could listen all night to good heads with intestinal fortitude and straight talk who would always have something of value to impart.....like Fox's brilliant Col. Ralph Peters, Ollie North, Malkin, Krauthammer, Liz Cheney and Jonah Goldberg.

I already do this.

Most of the hosts and shows I can understand - they are not completely ideological.

The one I can’t get is Hannity. If he is so committed to conservatism and getting rid of Obama he should refuse to put on McCain (except to berate him) as well as Pawlenty and any other RINO hack. I have made this point before and hopefully he and his producers will wake up. The time for games is over 2010-2012 are coming fast we MUST give ALL of our conservative mass media time to conservative candidates/legislators ONLY!

Huckabee is a regular with his own show. Sarah could be on when ever she wants.

But that's not the comparison for McCain now. It's JD Hayworth who might get one appearance on Fox to McCain's five or six, or more.

They will not notice unless you are one of the 1,000 families that keep track of what they watch. You need a special box and write everything that you watch. The Nielsen rating families are the ones they care about.
