Considering genetic research has uncovererd a plethora of evidence that suggests we all descend from the same woman - 'Mitochondrial Eve' - and that woman was African, Hitler isn't alone. We all most likely come from Africa, every last one of us.

What you need to look for are the "x factor" genes to see if he had Sa'ami ancestry, in which case that Y is probably Berber (North African) or Fulbe (a black African tribe). You do the same thing with Cherokee, Iroquois, Ojibway and Yakuts too.

that means your ancient ancestors came from the West European refugia during the peak of the Ice Age ~ and did an incredible amount of traveling ~ to America, to SIberia, to India, to subsaharan Africa, to Scandinavia and that ain't bad.

I think the Berber are ethnically distinct from all the Semites, but the Afroasiatic language group has six divisions ~ to wit: Berber, Chadic, Cushitic, Egyptian, Omotic and Semitic.

What that means is they have a number of grammatical forms and a serious piece of vocabulary in common but otherwise are not mutually understandable. You have to learn the others to understand them ~ just like in the Indo-European languages. Knowing German doesn't enable you to deal easily with Punjabi.

But the DNA may also reflect ancestry among the pre-Germanic, pre-Celtic, or pre-Indo-European inhabitants of Europe and North Africa, rather than Black Africans.
