In short, it will be the ultimate revolution by the ballot box.
I hope & pray that it happens this way but I have my doubts. The commies never go silently - elections are only worthy when they win.
will ping. Thanks for the interest. Probably tomorrow morning, still some editing to do.

Nonsense. There are niche sub-cultures with this attitude but they do not represent "an entire generation"...colleges are full of students working to better their chances, our military has no problem at all finding volunteers (and in time of war).
I am sick of these hyperbolic negative assessments of America's young people.
Exactly what the Obama Admin and their Commie/Fascist/Socialist/Progressive Zomies have been working for.
Obama and the Dums can’t wait to blame the American People (he started that yesterday) for the failures of his policies. We just don’t know how wonderful c/f/s/p really are for us. /s
AND we are suffering from “malaise” don’tcha know.
Amen. Without Christ, people cannot live in community with each other.
Rifle, ammo and at least a month of food and water.
I will be anchored out with eyes and ears open, watching the election results. It may get a bit messy.
We as a nation have, within my lifetime, experienced much greater civil unrest and more widespread dis-enfranchisement than we see today. There is nothing bubbling up like the racial or civil rights or anti-war/anti-establishment explosions of 1955-1973. Flash mobs of teenage girls hitting 7-11s for chips and soda are not indications of CW3 about to erupt.
As for Europe and the UK, they each have seen significantly more widespread and more violent 'spontaneous revolutions' than those which are happening today.
There is the added element of islam in EU and UK eruptions but that aspect is a factor not a driver.
The writer seems young(ish) and scared. I am neither.
The increase in college enrollment is yet another symptom of the problem. How much of that increase in enrollment is a result of the ‘Everybody should go to college’ push? How much of that increase are students who aren’t really qualified to go to a university, and are result of ‘diversity’ or affirmative action? How much of that increase are students majoring in Ethnic Studies, Gay/LGBT Studies or other likewise worthless and unproductive degreed programs? And again, how many students that are part of that increase have the mentality, because they have been taught that way, that once they have their degree, they are entitled to a $100K+ salary regardless of their qualifications or merit?
I’d like to see the statistics of college graduation verses enrollment, as well as what kind of degrees are being earned. I think you will see a different story there.
Stock up on ammunition for self-defense before they ban it. It’s not inconceivable that these flash mobs could spread to private homes.
>>The possible FORGET that there are A LOT of CCW holders outiside of those same communities which is asking for trouble.<<
So True. I’ve been predicting this for next year for a while now. Next year at the latest.
But check this out:
From approximately ten years ago: Fred articles on race relations and potential future civil war:

I disagree. I’m 57. My wife is from Chicago and was there during the unrest. Yes. It was worse than it is right now, and no, I don’t think these silly flash mobs are worse. Nor are they relevant.
But I bought my current residence (13 acres in rural kentucky) back two weeks before Obama was elected. I moved here permanently just a few weeks ago from my Seattle home (since 1966). What we are seeing around the world is a different problem than what we saw in the 60’s. This is a 100 year storm. This is the collapse of a fiat money world system. This is mystery babylon coming to its final end.
It’s been worse, to be sure, but think of this as August of 1939. And September comes.
Time will tell, and yes, I am prepared too. The difference is that my preparations are from prudence not from fear or hyperbolic interpretaion and extrapolation of events. I do not suggest that your position is born of fear but I do think that the writer is a bit of a nellie.
I can go out right now to several businesses in my area and likely have a job within a day or so. Granted it might be as a clerk in a convience store {been there done that also} but there are jobs to be had.
I'm medically retired now. But in my working years I never drew union wages and usually just made enough income to pay the bills. I've seen people in their 20's and 30's get dream jobs with great incomes walk off because they wanted a few days off so they quit their job.
My last job as a multi-trade skilled blue collar worker paid me about $6.50 an hour. I usually doubled my pay check with overtime by working shifts others did not show up for.
I confess I just glanced at the article. My position comes from all sorts of different perspectives, cultural, economic, religious, local, global, etc.
I remember having arguments with guys about the housing recession in 2007 who argued that the rest of the world was fine and this would be just a “US” thing.
My position is preparedness as well, btw. Only about half the reason I moved to this place is the “self sufficiency” factor. It is a great place even if this whole thing just blows over like WWII did.

The collapse has begun.
PING!
