I implied nothing of the kind. I was stating a fact.
Not my fault you take words and try to make them mean something that isn’t there.

You Betcha!
What a great woman her daughter Bristol has become, despite all the backlash and criticism she has gotten.

“If anyone from out side of the aisle puts themself out there, this is what they get.”
No, this is not a fact. What came down on Palin was not normal. So it’s false to say “this is what they get.”
It’s what only Palin gets, apart from all other political figures, because she is the one most feared by the left. My point was that it is stupid and dishonest to call her a coward.
To: SoJoCo
No, just not big on people who feel that they can speak for God.
Well, then, you don't know HIM! Sarah does and so do I and He does speak to HIS OWN. And the godless will never get that; yet, they spew their a-hole comments because that's where their knowledge comes from.
To: Coldwater Creek
I have even more respect for Mrs. Palin to be able to say no to fame, and be obedient to what God was telling her to do
____________________________________________
Sarah said no to fame...was this before or after the reality TV show, the FOX job, the books, the speeches? And was her Partridge Family bus tour indicative of her low-key rejection of fame?
btw...how do you know that obama or Scheumer or pelosi are not being obedient to that which God is telling them to do?
How do you know Sarah is?
How do you know that there is not something that she fears would be made public if she ran?
You don't.

Give it up. Yes she was attacked without mercy, yet chose to stay out there.

I am a PK and a strong Christian --- but my father, the good reverend, taught me to always suspect anyone who uses the "God speaks to me so I am right" argument. The excuse that 'God is on my side' has caused more war and suffering throughout history than any other rational.
And, frankly, you have absolutely no real knowledge of what Sarah believes or thinks or fears.

The constant grievance that never ended.
One of the things that hurt Palin more than anything was the constant pity party that sprang up around her. People don’t want to elect someone they have to feel sorry for.
If she was so pitiful, she would have never stayed in the limelight and sought out all the attention.

“anyone who uses the ‘God speaks to me so I am right’”
This argument has not been used, which tells me you’re disoriented. Therefore I’m skeptical of anything you say.
To: indylindy
If you can’t tell the difference between a “pity party” and a defensive battle, you are very foolish because the there is no similarity between the two.

So we should be suspect of Isaac, Elijah, Jeremiah and Paul? My concern is not that G-d is my side but that I’m on G-d’s side.

That was no defensive battle. Whatever it was was waste of time and didn’t work.

You called it a pity party, claiming that it was about feeling sorry and that people supported Palin because they saw her as “pitiful.” You did so with enough confidence to say it was “one of the things that hurt Palin more than anything.”
Now you reject the pity party argument in your use of the term “whatever it was,” shifting your approach to the “it didn’t work” criticism.
This shows you don’t really think it was a “pity party,” and that your great confidence in post # 50 was fake, phony and made up.
Just like many of your other posts.

to always suspect anyone who uses the "God speaks to me so I am right"
And when God speaks to me - HE is always right! So suspect me all you want - so does satan.
Bristol said God is on her mother's side - are you saying you don't think He is? Let's see if you have any discernment.
And, frankly, you have absolutely no real knowledge of what Sarah believes or thinks or fears.
Sarah doesn't fear - what part of 'fear not' did not your daddy teach you? Sarah is coming from wisdom - why don't you know that? What part of 'wisdom and discernment' was left out of what you were taught, moreso as a PK?
The excuse that 'God is on my side' has caused more war and suffering throughout history than any other rational.
Really? Tell that to the Egyptians and then ask Moses - was God on your side? And then David - was God on your side? And then Esther - was God on your side? And Joseph - was God on your side? And Elijah - was God on your side? And Abraham - was God on your side?
No way could you be versed in God's Word with a comment like that! It caused LOTS suffering to those who opposed those who were on God's side.
To: reasonisfaith
I am done arguing with you. I stand by what I said.
You get stuck in ruts and your wheels keep spinning.

You are saying Sarah sought out all the attention? Are you really that clueless - and willing to show it for the world to see? Is she seeking out your attention now? Is it Sarah's fault you are drawn to her threads?
To: Coldwater Creek
OK preacher, I get yer drift!
Doesn’t change a thing though.
