What I found compelling was her (foster?) mothers description of her as a compulsive liar and even more so, her former husband (White) saying he didnt know if the story was true
I have been searching for a link to this and can’t find it.
Do you have it?
This appears to be an accusation of private, alleged consensual conduct between adults - a subject matter which is not a proper subject of inquiry by the media or the public, said a statement from Mr Cains lawyer
Did you give any thought to the above statement by the attorney? No, I didn't think so. You say Cain seems to confirm the "affair". Yet the attorney refers to it as "private, alleged consensual conduct between adults". This term can apply to almost any type of relationship between adults, and in no way implies an "affair".
I meet with mature, senior, gentlemen every week. I will do so tomorrow. They are members of my Kiwanis Club. Yet, this meets the definition of "private, alleged consensual conduct between adults". Am I having an "affair"? No. Except by your definition.
When it's stated he was consoling her, and trying to give her direction, that too can be considered "private, alleged consensual conduct between adults".
Are you always this gullible?
So do you and your kiwanis friends meet ‘behind bedroom doors’? Read the rest of the statement:
“No individual, whether a private citizen, a candidate for public office or a public official, should be questioned about his or her private sexual life. The publics right to know and the medias right to report has boundaries and most certainly those boundaries end outside of ones bedroom door.”
He says right there that this has to do with Cain’s “private sexual life”....
He states that because that’s the implication made by the woman. Good grief.
My Grandfather (God rest his soul) was 45 years sober and worked through AA to help many many people of questionable backgrounds. When he passed away, grown children of some of the people he helped came to his services to let us know how much his intervention (often times in the wee hours of the morning) changed their lives and saved their parents.
Why on earth does that appear suspicious to you? If the man was signing books for hundreds of friends and admirers, that's exactly the sort of thing you'd expect him to write for someone he knew personally.
Cain is a big man with a big heart. He cares about people, and has obviously gone out of his way to help others in his life. Are you aware that he spent a million dollars of his own money to promote an anti-abortion campaign?
Don't do the left's dirty work by intentionally polluting your own thoughts.
