One of my favorite scenes from Lawrence of Arabia. Okay, the whole movie is my favorite scene.

He woke up in the morning with Hudson handing him a drink and saying "Today is a day for getting drunk".
He said the last thing he remembered was the sun setting and both of them riding on a horse still in their pajamas.
I was looking for the scene in that movie where he goes to the family’s dinner, because it would have been good for this thread. The family asks him if certain rumors were true about his behavior, and he replies that yes, he gets away with a lot because he is a movie star, but he also gets blamed for things he has never done, and it all evens out in the end. I couldn’t find it on YouTube, though, so I just went with the bathroom scene.
Ah, I love that scene with Uncle Morty. “Did you schtoop her?” If you find it, let me know.
LOL! That was great!
Reminds me of me and my brother, though we aren’t that old.
How the horse got in their pajamas they’ll never know.
Harris loved to tell the joke about getting the truck stuck under a bridge. He drove a truck under a bridge that was too low for the truck. the truck got stuck. When the cops showed up, he tells the cops “no problem here, I’m just delivering this bridge”.
‘The Night of the Generals’ with O’Toole and Sharif is a favorite of mine. Amazing movie.
I always liked the fellow.
When I was a kid and saw him in Lawrence of Arabia, I thought he was GORGEOUS. Looking back at the film now, my opinion was right.
IMDb shows him in two movies now in post-production.
“These must be his drinking socks.”
That’s one of the O’Toole movies that I have not seen.
He did announce a couple of weeks ago that he will no longer be acting. On a fan page at Facebook someone posted that it was because of his declining health.

Not a great film, but that is a great scene.
Fly You Bastard! Fly!
Pretty darned handsome.
Hadn’t heard that story before.
