So.....the CDC says that 2% of men have sex with men.....it's a rather roundabout way of saying, but not saying, 2% of the male population (and by way of reason, females, too) is HOMOSEXUAL....so then, the CDC says that there are 2% of us out there that are queer.

Imagine that. Then why is it that almost every sitcom, drama, and, alas, even SyFy show HAS to have a damned homo in it? It certainly isn't representative; it is quite the reverse of 'representative'. It is a campaign to brainwash our children that homosexuality is normalcy.

Were these children to see what homosexuality really is in a bedroom with two males buggering each other, I'd hazard to guess it would make some very upset. Yet, all they get to see, read and hear is how Johnny has two daddies and they 'love' each other.

I thought the often quoted 10% number came from a Kinsley study on prisoners, which counted people who had committed homosexual acts. Obviously the number of men who had at least one homosexual act in prison is not representative of the general population. But it's quoted as if it were.

Certainly the entertainment industry, including its journalism wing, have more than 2% gay representation. Since low-information America is nothing more than its TV contents, many American believe the percentage of gay men is much higher than 10%.

The number of gay couples is probably fewer than one million. A 2005 survey put it at 770,000. If even half of them want to get married, we're still talking about half of a third of one percent of the population. Many of them already live in states where they can marry. IMO, The whole gay marriage debate is just a way of sidetracking discussions of how deeply our country's economy has collapsed. The percent of the labor force working full time continues to drop so the MSM will bring up anything else to defend the empty suit they crammed down our throat as President.

In the U.S., that is far from true. In Sub-Saharan Africa, it is close to numbers along those lines. But Africa has plenty of its own serious problems to worry about, besides HIV Infections (Civil Wars, Dictatorships, currency failure, etc.)

And because 2 percent of our population of 313 million is homosexual is reason to legalize ‘marriage’ between two sodomites? Actually, the real reason is so that homosexual partners can qualify for benefits and other entitlements. It has always been about following the money and not ‘rights’ for homosexuals. The major driver is for medical benefits if one of the partners gets AIDS or pops positive for HIV.
