I read a little bit about this case. What killed this young woman was a totally dysfunctional family. When she was born a girl his mother exiled him to the garage and reminded her every day she was unwanted because she wasn’t a boy.
I was wondering if that was exaggerated but then the mother released a horrible statement where she said flat out she didn’t care if her child lived or died. Vicious woman.
Here we are. As usual, if you want the real story, you often have to go to the international media. NBC wants this story to be about euthanasia and transsexualism. But what it really is about is the devastation brought about by a dysfunctional family.
“Suicide rates among transsexuals and those who have undergone gender reassignment surgery are high with some suggesting the rate may be as high as 31 per cent.”
For me, that indicates that for many transsexuals, the problem is not their body but their mind. In a logical and normal world we would not be enabling these choices easily, instead we persecute anyone who suggests that aberrant sexuality should be in any way examined.
She didn’t have anyone and that is a horrible feeling in this world.
I pray the Lord had mercy on her.
Read a follow up article where the mother said it didn’t bother her at all.

I know my mother loves me but she has an incredibly vicious tongue...so I can relate a bit to her pain...not to the degree she had...but everyone suffers when a parent is not kind or loving to their child. Especially the child.
I wish someone had intervened on her behalf to help her see she was not the problem. I pray God had mercy on her soul. If anyone needed His love and mercy, it was this girl.
I think this situation was more serious than just having a bad hair day. To be abused by your parents is something I can relate to and my heart breaks for her.
If only someone had been there for her and helped her see she was not the problem.

Nowadays mommy could tell everybody that he was a boy starting at birth, dress him as a boy, name him a boy name, tell the school he’s a boy, insist to use the boys bathroom, start hormone treatments at adolescence and voila! she gets what she wants. It is possible that some of the kids who want to ‘change’ their sex at an early age have parents who wanted a child of the opposite sex.
I meant tell everybody that SHE was a boy. The Dunhams wanted a boy so they named their daughter Stanley, and we all know how that ended up.

I'm sure this option is available -- even encouraged -- as part of Obamacare.
This is what happens when people are told that any and every feeling and whim they have deserves validation.
There was a time when this poor woman would have received help to deal with her mental and emotional problems rather counseling.
May God have mercy on her soul.
Change all those HEs to SHEs.
