Due to the difficulty of getting a parking space, putting cones in front of your house to "reserve" a space is a widespread practice in NYC. It's annoying, but a lot of people do it. At no point can I see if it's illegal. Is it?

People need to start shooting back.
These people are nothing more than criminals with badges.

If anything resembling this scene were to transpire in my house, there would be dead
cops trespassers to be hauled off to the morgue at the end of the day.
Just sayin... they were advised at the door, y'all:

It's a matter of obedience, really. This comes from someone that has been assaulted by 6 LEOs, but you probably assumed that much already... and assumed I had deserved it.

For some reason I suspect that the NY Daily News has left out a number of key facts and only reported what Lugos lawyer has approved to be reported.
Regardless of what the paper put in or left out, it’s pretty telling that the guy who supposedly started it all was not charged. And all the other charges were dismissed.

And all the other charges were dismissed. The charges were also SEALED! They protect the criminals they call cops by not allowing citizens the ability to see what their paid public servants are doing.

Oh, no..."stop & frisk" is not doing any harm to the community at ALL... </sarc>
I understand the critics of those that call for the reversal of "stop & frisk", but there is no denying that when you give a government agency ONE inch in ignoring Constitutional Rights, they take a mile.
"Community Policing" is not equivalent to what NYPD is doing here. Bloomberg et al have created an exodus from NY; it will only get worse and NY citizens will have to stand up for their rights (and the rest of us will have to keep one eye on the progs' everywhere else).

You need police to have a police state.

Apparently, some NYPD would like to be caricatures. Well done, in that regard.

I totally agree with you. On it’s face stop and frisk is a blatant violation of the 4th amendment, as are drunk driving check points. Sadly the Supreme Court doesn’t bother to read what was actually written in our founding document.

I’m not sure. You see it done more in ghetto nabes or, for some reason, Italian nabes around here. I am just reporting the facts, not making any judgments.
